"Something Wicked This Way Comes"

My Friends,

I have succeeded in avenging the deaths of my father and mother, but if you are reading this note then I too have fallen in battle. Drink a toast to my memory, sing many songs, and know that I sent many evil men to their graves. As the last Bjornson in Waterdeep I pass control of all our remaining belongings and property, with the exception of Heartseeker, to Kelly Blake, including the building of the Stone Hearth. All details of this have already been arranged with the City Deeds Clerk, and all taxes have been paid for the remainder of the Year of the Shield.

The axe of Clan Bjornson, Heartseeker, must be returned to my eldest brother, Reednar, Clan Bjornson's chieftain, who will be found in the Valley of the Blue Bear, deep in the Spine of the World, north of Mirabar. This sacred trust I also leave to Kelly, a strong woman whose heart I would have one day won had family honor not led me elsewhere. Do not trek northward until whatever evil hiding in the city has been purged- there will be plenty of time to return Heartseeker to its rightful place once your safety has been ensured, and it will most certainly be of use to someone in your coming battles.

Finally, my friends, I say farewell to you all. Kelly, Juliet, Erik, and Talyth, know in your hearts that Olaf and I will be telling many grand tales of your courage and bravery until we meet again.
